Abstract

SUMMARY The following inferential investigation consisted about the evaluation of biological fungicides for the control of Ceratocystis fimbriata, “Gray Mold” in the rubber crop Hevea brasiliensis, in farm Agrícola Chitalón S.A., as part of the Supervised Professional Exercise of the Career of Tropical Agronomy. The investigation was carried out specifically in the Sol 4 plot, of the Chitalón Agricultural Farm located in Mazatenango Suchitepéquez, beginning in May and ending in October 2018. For this, 12 applications of the different treatments and thirteen readings or samplings, were carried out with an eight days interval, to determine the disease behavior. The treatments evaluated were six, of which four corresponded to biological fungicides, which are detailed below: T1 = BioClean; T2 = Regalia Maxx; T3 = BioClean + Regalia Maxx and T4 = Revancha Plus. A chemical treatment evaluated was the T5 = Relative Control (Chemical fungicides), T6 = Absolute Control (No application). The RRIM600 clone was used for research, with 10 years of established and four years in production. And a completely randomized block field design with four replications was used. The third treatment (BioClean + Regalía Maxx), the second (Regalía maxx) and relative control (Chemical fungicides), respectively, presented a similar control and reduced the number of rubber trees with symptoms of the disease Ceratocystis fimbriata "Gray Mold" from of the eleventh application of the treatments, remaining as the second best treatments after treatment one (BioClean).
