Abstract

This investigation is an evaluaction of five mixed preemergent herbicides to control of Cyperus rotundus y Rottboellia cochinchinensis, that realice in an área of renovation of the plantation of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) in Finca La Flora property of Inversiones Agrícolas Febrero (INAFEB), located on the municipy of Tiquisate, in Escuintla, Guatemala, C. A., based in a statistic design completely random, with four repetitions and experimental units of 10 surcos of 10 meter of large, and a border surco, and and150 m² to even repetition. The evaluated mixes are: 1) Supressor® 70 WG (Imazapik®) 210 gr/ha, Pendimentalina® 50 EC3.0 l/ha, Tótem® 72 SL (2,4-D Amina®) 1.2 l/ha, Pentamins® 0.2 kg/ha y Pegador pH® 0.14 l/ha. 2) Supressor® 70 WG (Imazapik®) 210 gr/ha, Acetofor® 80 EC (Acetochlor®) 3.5 l/ha, Tótem® (2,4-D Amina®) 1.2 l/ha, Pentamins® 0.2 kg/ha y Pegador pH® 0.14 l/ha. 3) Supressor® 70 WG (Imazapik®) 210 gr/ha, Ametrina® 50 SC 3.0 l/ha, Tótem® (2,4-D Amina®) 1.2 l/ha, Pentamins® 0.2 kg/ha y Pegador pH® 0.14 l/ha. 4) Supressor® 70 WG (Imazapik®) 210 gr/ha, Terbutrina® 50 SC 3.0 l/ha, Tótem® (2,4-D Amina®) 1.2 l/ha, Pentamins® 0.2 kg/ha y Pegador pH® 0.14 l/ha. And the comercial whitness5) Pendimentalina® 50 EC 3.0 l/ha, Terbutrina® 50 SC 3.0 l/ha, Tótem® (2,4-D Amina®) 1.2 l/ha, Pentamins® 0.2 kg/ha y Pegador pH® 0.14 l/ha. The aplication is realizated four day safter planting of sugarcane, with manual pump, in estrict premergency to plants and weeds, because the properties of the Imazapik®. This investigation is planed with the agricultural designfrom the organization and observating the labores secuency This investigation defined that exist differences significatives in the premergent control between the 5 treatments. All treatments proporcionated 53 control days, and the comercial whitness with a cost of Q6.60 and a coverage of weeds of 9.5%, is the best, but the surface with weeds is over 80% more tan the 4 other 4 treatments with Imazapik®, and 50% less premergent control of Cyperus rotundus, and the treratment 3 is the best to control of Rottboellia cochinchinensis y Cyperus rotundus In the sandy loam soils a dossage of de 210 gr of Imazapik® forhectárea, is a ideal dosage to evite the germination of Cyperus rotundus, but this dossage is toxic in high sand soils, because Phytotoxicity was present in five repetitions and in the commercial área of the farm where the herbicide was applied to that dose.
