Abstract

ABSTRACT The study of the topic was formulated in order to investigate, understand and compare the philosophical and methodological guidelines of the Telesecundaria program and the National Base Curriculum, resulting in the academic performance and educational quality of the students of the National Institute of Basic Education of Telesecundaria. , Aldea Concepción Ixtacapa San Antonio Suchitepéquez, given that they are totally different models, on the one hand the CNB is planned based on competencies and the projection of Telesecundaria is carried out through objectives. Taking all this into consideration, the present research work seeks to determine the academic level of the students and what are the causes of the problem. To do this, the pertinent investigation was carried out through observation and the use of a properly structured interview, aimed at administrative staff and surveys aimed at teachers and students, subsequently analysis and discussion were carried out, subjecting themselves to comparisons, the results of field research with bibliographic definitions.
