The knowledge on citizenship training obtained by the students was evaluated through open interviews. Among the main findings of the study, the transversality of the choice of the school government with the other areas of the curriculum stands out, strengthening the acquisition of more competencies of the proposals in the National Base Curriculum at the middle level. Likewise, the execution of projects for academic improvement by the school government and the interest of teachers to improve activity was detected.
