Abstract

Educational supervision has radically changed, going from fulfilling its traditional functions of control and supervision, to becoming a tool to help improve the quality of education. Educational supervision has implemented efficient improvements in the control, direction and evaluation process; with the aim of contributing to the efficiency of the administrative process that as a consequence has interfered in the improvement of the teaching-learning process. The correct execution of each aspect contributes to developing an optimal process. That is why it was considered to carry out this investigation to strengthen the supervision, direction and control tools of the INEB-INED of Santo Domingo, Suchitepéquez. The research was directed at fifteen teachers who were surveyed and the director who was interviewed. To carry out the following research, the quantitative method and the deductive method were used. Through the investigation it was possible to determine that within the educational process that takes place in the aforementioned institution, the control, supervision and direction tools are unknown to the teachers and administrative personnel who teach in the establishment, it was also determined that this harms the good development of the students' learning process, which is found with great deficiencies, it is expected that with the effective implementation of the tools of control, supervision and direction the process will radically improve
