Abstract

The Departmental Directorate of Education of Suchitepéquez has a Manual of Standards and procedures which was prepared in the human resources unit where it literally describes that its objective is to establish the minimum conditions generated by custom for the benefit of the workers of this institution, without However, after the investigation, it was evident that the manual does not comply with what the theory indicates is a manual of norms and procedures, but that it was developed as an internal normative which contains articles that include meal times, uniform, permission licenses , among other things, but at no time are the procedures to be carried out in the work areas of the Departmental Directorate of Education specified. It is worth mentioning that the administrative processes carried out in this institution are developed because all those who work in it have higher academic training, therefore it makes them suitable for the position they perform but the desired efficiency is not achieved due to the little application of the Manual of Human Resources Standards and Procedures.
