Abstract

The present investigation has tried to be a bibliographic review on the subject: "Socioeconomic and Curricular Conditions Incidents in the Student Enrollment" (Study carried out in the National Institutes of Basic Education of Telesecundaria de Suchitepéquez). These conditions concern students because they have to do directly with the completion of their academic training, the development of their personality, the performance of their abilities and learning skills, among others. Derived from the research process carried out, it can be verified that it could be verified that the main socioeconomic and curricular conditions that have a direct influence on the issue of low student enrollment in many of the Telesecundaria Institutes are: Poverty, the need for migration due to part of families, unemployment, social insecurity, some considerable deficiencies in regard to the curricular issue, such as: insufficient teaching material in establishments, sudden changes or modifications in the curriculum, etc. Regarding the issue in question, it can be proven that one of the most congruent solutions has to do with direct support from the Guatemalan government, in the sense of generating sources of employment, which make it possible to a certain extent, the eradication of poverty , migration, among other factors. Now, with regard to curricular factors, they can be remedied by means of specific recommendations from the Ministry of Education, in the sense of establishing a single curricular methodology in the INEB's of Telesecundaria, without making sudden changes each year; provide didactic material in educational centers, enable effective teaching and learning strategies, and even more, the entrepreneurial and optimistic participation of the teaching union is required when teaching their classes to increase school enrollment in these establishments.
