Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the biggest problems that Guatemalan society faces is the low educational quality, so this research focuses its study on the incidence of monotony with which teachers work in the development of the teaching-learning process of students of the Institute of basic education Lic. Julio césar Méndez Montenegro, JV of Mazatenango Suchitepéquez. The intention of education is to offer quality and innovation in learning, however, this does not exclude problems such as resistance to change and innovation on the part of teachers, causing students to not be motivated to continue their educational process. Having perceived this through observation during the beginning of the professional practice process, it is intended through surveys of students, teachers and administrators of the educational center, to know the causes for which there is monotony and its effects on the teaching process - learning. Therefore, that social problems and the monotony with which teachers develop their educational process directly affect students, causing them little interest in learning and low performance, due to the vulnerability of young people and little attention on the part of teachers, it allows students to have no educational goals and are not interested in being academically trained. Having the challenge as teachers to prevent students from losing the educational focus, interest and desire to develop productively within society.
