Abstract

ABSTRACT The pandemic that is still being experienced today has caused a crisis in all areas and education is no exception. This led to the massive closure of private and public educational centers, which led to the suspension of face-to-face classes in all the levels. This has given rise to distance learning modalities, through the use of a variety of virtual educational platforms. Likewise, the support and nonmobilization of teaching staff and the elements that make up the teaching-learning process has been evident. The closures of establishments disproportionately affected students and the entire educational community, because not everyone had the opportunities, tools or access necessary to continue learning during the pandemic, this forced us to accelerate the use of technology, and to undertake a process of constant change, which leads to adaptation to this new modality. Overnight we went from in-person education in which all individuals learn at the same time and in the same place to education in which learning can occur anywhere. The role of teachers, people in charge of family and students was modified, with the responsibility of students under the supervision of their parents or guardians to fulfill the assigned tasks and provide care in the current modality. In the same way, the administrative processes had to adapt to the new modality, this was a challenge for the Administrative Technical Coordinators, because they are responsible for carrying out the coordination of an entire system of advice and support to the establishments that are within of the municipality, together with all the actors in the educational system. With new technological tools, great progress has been made in distance education. The great challenge is to ensure that this potential becomes a quality educational tool, both for educational centers and for students through the use of tools. virtual.
