Abstract
Abstract The present investigation has as a priority to collect information on the degree of incidence of adaptation to the virtual modality at a distance and the change that it has had in recent years with the arrival of COVID-19, evaluating the level of negative impact on the students of the center educational Basic Institute by Cooperativa El Esfuerzo, considering economic, social, health and social coexistence aspects; being the most important for human development and growth opportunities. Although education in Latin American countries has had a low quality and a high rate of school withdrawals at different educational levels, with the arrival of the pandemic it has generated a decrease in employment opportunities; leaving parents without daily sustenance, motivating young people to support them in the home economy through temporary jobs in the different occupations that are offered. This generates concern for the socioeconomic future of the nation, promoting fewer employment opportunities and fewer opportunities for a better salary due to the lack of skills and basic academic knowledge of young people who enter the country's workplace. For this reason, it is necessary to detect and immediately attend to possible cases of school dropout that due to pandemic issues, economic-social situations of many families with school-age children, coupled with rebellion and personality changes suffered by young people in the adolescence, cause in one way or another these situations of temporary desertion and total abandonment of the formative process; Therefore, the educational center to prevent the increase of this phenomenon must implement strategies, tools and methods that generate the desire to excel and motivate students to complete their educational process. The present investigation used the quantitative methodology to know the reality in which the educational center is located and propose possible options for improvement, since it was verified that school dropout is a latent reality in the new distance modality that the pandemic has left. of COVID-19 in recent years.
