Abstract
ABSTRACT In the return to face-to-face classes, it is convenient to verify the educational quality that the students achieved in the distance modality and how the students adapt in returning to face-to-face classes after two years during social distancing; in such an eventuality in which the teachers had teaching experience in the face-to-face modality, so that the teachers of the Cooperative Basic Education Institute, Caserío Cabricán, San José El Ídolo, Suchitepéquez, did not have experience in the virtual modality. The abandonment that characterizes distance education and, was latent in view of the socioeconomic conditions in the environment worsened with the expansion of Covid 19, in such circumstances many students have been gradually withdrawing, others are limited to carrying out the tasks more accessible, so that expenses are not onerous. For data collection, a survey-type digital form was administered on personal and contextual variables with a possible impact on academic trajectories. The results show that, among the variables considered in the study, those that seem to be linked to achievement trajectories are the parents' socioeconomic conditions, Internet access, learning goals, and internal and modifiable causal attributions. Likewise, the contextual variables perceived as promoters of achievement were mainly linked to the teacher's availability and their speed in responding to queries and offering feedback on the activities carried out. The discussion proposes lines of action that, based on the results of the study, could contribute to promoting the achievement of educational quality in the face-to-face modality.
