Abstract

Abstract The thesis was carried out with the objective of measuring the effectiveness of evaluation tools on student performance as a measure to improve education at the institute described above. The research had a qualitative approach; in addition, a process of collecting information was carried out through a survey to determine the level of knowledge that teachers have regarding evaluation tools and whether they apply them in their work. At the end, the results were processed. data obtained through graphs and were analyzed, based on this, it was possible to detect that teachers do apply them, but in a monotonous and traditional way, describing that everyone only uses the checklist and objective tests to evaluate the students. Teachers avoid carrying out innovative and didactic activities to establish meaningful learning. To support the thesis, different physical and digital sources on education were consulted, as well as evaluation tools, which can be observation and performance tools that can be used by teachers at the NUFED institute.
