Abstract

ABSTRACT The report of the following investigation focused into analyze the influence of pedagogic leadership in the implementation of pedagogical alternatives and mechanisms that can improve the prevention of the school dropout of the Fourth Grade students in the careers of Industrial Bachelors and Carpentry Experts; and Industrial Bachelors and Manufacturing Processes with Machine-Tools (Lathes) Experts from Instituto Técnico Industrial “Georg Kerschensteiner” J.D. from Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez. It applied the quantitative, qualitative and descriptive research methodology, inductive method and within the techniques were the analysis of documents and inquiry of informants; there was applied a survey form, through an online link and the interview form was applied in person; we applied they survey form to a total of 28 students from both careers and 04 interviews to the educational personnel, allowing the obtaining of the data to know the reality of the problem. It was identified that the influence of pedagogic leadership is impartial, generating no favorable changes, it is recommended that the teachers perform this quality adequately, allowing to obtain good results and to achieve the implementation of pedagogical alternatives and mechanisms to prevent the school dropout.
