Abstract

In Guatemala education is an obligation of the state, which is met through the Ministry of Education. The departmental directorates have their origin in the deconcentration and decentralization of the national education system; They were created in 1991 to make possible the adequate provision of educational services. With the creation of the Coordination for Education, it states that it is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing school education programs in establishments department of Suchitepéquez. All related to the planning, coordination, and implementation of the CNB. National programs have been strengthened and especially "Let's read together" and "Let's count Together", they have contributed to achieving higher levels of achievement. Under this, the research was aimed at determining Does teacher training for the Coordination of Education School principals and teachers from the official sector, the primary level of the urban area of Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez.
