Abstract

Repetition and dropout is one of the problems that presents the education of Guatemala, in her various factors affecting it, this report thesis is entitled "Violence as a determining factor in the repetition and dropout rates at the Institute National Basic Education Flor del Cafe, Mazatenango, Suchitepequez”. His investigation unfolds and takes the description of the efforts and achievements made by the authorities of the educational establishment with the support of teachers, to mitigate these scourges are caused by various factors, which are included in this report. The inquiry was conducted through library research, observation, interview and identity card ballots survey, which showed that this factor influences the problem, more is not decisive for statistics repetition and dropout rates increase. obvious factors which combine to investigated as incidents also cause these problems within the educational establishment was also made
