Abstract
ABSTRACT Social networks are known as a group of people within a specific theme, called Virtual Community. In the course of the days, the interest in knowing the behavior of the students in front of these tools and their possible applications within the pedagogical scope has awakened. Currently students are immersed in a context where there are distractors, among which are the different social networks and technology not taken advantage of in this 21 st centrury This research progress shows a methodological proposal to analyze data and find results tending to generate proposals and recommendations for the implementation of social networks in the education sector. A study was carried out to measure the level of influence of social networks in the construction of identity and comprehensive training at the middle level. This research is based on surveys and interviews with students from the middle level of saint Francisco Zapotitlán, as well as the Director, Teachers and Parents of the same place. In this part of the research, the nature and existing habits of social networks by adolescents were evaluated with the purpose of investigating the rate of students who show low performance, in relation to the dominance of social networks in the face of attention and interest in their studies.
