Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the main problems that prevent raising the academic level, are the factors that stop and interrupt the process. So it is important to know the factors involved, trying to avoid them or counteract them so that changes in educational processes are developed, being necessary for parents to be fully involved in school activities developed by their children. The following problem arises with the following question: What is the influence of the academic level of the parents in the learning process of the students of the San Antonio Suchitepéquez Institute of Education? In addition to mentioning the causes and consequences caused by the factors that affect teaching. With the aim of improving the teaching-learning processes of the educational institutions under study. The technique of direct observation was applied, which allowed to know the problems that affect different educational communities, the evaluation was used to determine qualitatively and quantitatively the percentage of the investigated object through surveys to the teachers and parents of the educational establishment in study. Finally, to solve the identified problem, detect the incidence that causes the “Academic level of parents in the academic performance of students of the National Institute of Basic Education of San Antonio Suchitepéquez”.
