Abstract

This research is related to the topic "Learning strategies as a factor to consolidate academic performance in students", which was carried out with the purpose of detecting the main causes that affect the low academic performance of students. Therefore, it is important to know the factors involved, trying to avoid or counteract them so that changes in educational processes are developed, and it is necessary for teachers to be at the forefront of new strategic learning processes. For the research carried out on "Learning strategies as a factor to consolidate academic performance in students". A double quantitative-qualitative approach was applied, using the direct observation technique that allowed determining the factors that affect low performance, qualitative and quantitative, the percentage of the characteristics of the object investigated through surveys of teachers, and students in order to to find reliable and truthful information. According to the research carried out, it allowed to demonstrate the teachers' knowledge about the application of learning strategies in the classroom and how they improve the learning process, training students with the ease of acting rationally in the face of challenges in any area of life in a positive way.
