Abstract

ABSTRACT The research called "Organizational Behavior of the INEB-D of San Francisco Zapotitlan" was carried out as part of Practice II and Supervised Professional Exercise at the National Institute of Basic and Diversified Education "San Francisco" located in the municipality of San Francisco Zapotitlan, department of Suchitepéquez, during the years two thousand and twenty and two thousand and twenty-one. The study was oriented to investigate the organizational behavior of the institute. The objective was to identify the factors that influence the organizational behavior of teaching and administrative staff. The qualitative method by immersion was used, which allowed obtaining true information through participatory observation techniques and structured interviews with randomly selected teachers; the data collected were based on said theory obtained from bibliographic sources. It is concluded that the aforementioned originates from an individual level, a product of the collaborator's own habits and customs, together with that of all the members of the organization; In addition, the prevailing leadership style in the entity influences the type of development of teachers in their jobs, defining the characteristics of the collective behavior of the work team. It is necessary to recognize that leadership within the institution is centered on the freedom of the staff to act in favor of compliance with the institutional POA, for which it is recommended to renew the obsolete command paradigms and promote teamwork based on skills, competencies and acknowledgments to staff.
