Abstract

This research work developed at the National School Night Urban Commercial Studies Mazatenango Suchitepéquez area was conducted in order to establish the relationship between study habits and academic performance in students the basic cycle. Starting with the problem statement which seeks to structure and publicize all aspects and basic arguments of the problem identified, in addition to defining the problem through a question that will be resolved through inquiry, then proceed with the methodological description, where It discloses how theoretical research was conducted. The available literature theory allows the analysis and discussion of results, for which surveyed students presented this analysis developed based on research of the theoretical framework that provided important elements on the subject in question, ie Obstacles and internal constraints for the study.
