Abstract

ABSTRACT "METHODOLOGY IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING IN YOUTH WITH SPECIAL NEEDS" The title and report Thesis arises with the need to know and make known the methodology used in schools the average level of the institutes of the public sector of Mazatenango, specifically with young students who have special educational needs; after it was used as a tool interviews written and oral coupled with this mobile is used to record oral interviews. Among the important findings that were found it is that no teacher has the support of the education authorities, because they have not received any workshops or training that can prepare to cope with this difficult task they have every day, mostly teachers interviewed revealed that they all work with these young empirically since none of them have a specialization that allows more effective the learning process. An alarming data obtained in the research is the misuse of curricular adjustments, sometimes they are applied to young people who do not need them and it is possible that there is adequate supervision of the educational authorities to allow proper implementation of the same. One curricular adaptation allows content to accommodate the student's needs and not to accommodate the student to the contents, the inclusion of these young people into society and make them easier way is necessary. It is important to emphasize that the most difficult task is teaching because it is they who must face the arduous task of bringing professionals regardless of limitation that has each of them, in some cases teachers said they did not only students present limitations, but they are also limited because they lack the support and do their job as best as possible to face a difficult job, the pleasant side of this is that teachers have developed the human side of that at some point the teachers lack.
