Abstract

SUMMARY The present investigation addressed the problem of the lack of an adequate program dedicated to women in the process of gestation, the family members had no knowledge of affective techniques towards the pregnant woman, this causes that the newborn can not develop physically, this irritated, and present lack of aptitude in developing his intellective and psychomotor faculties, disinterest in reading. To this end, a case study was developed at the Permanent Care Center, CAP, based in Cuyotenango, Suchitepéquez. The working hypothesis was: "Impact of the Stimulation program on women in the gestation stage of the Permanent Attention Center of Cuyotenango, Suchitepéquez." The sociocultural and family context in which pregnant women live determines their personal capacity to face the Emotional crisis, raise your vision of life and your. To carry out the study, the qualitative method was applied, for which an extensive review of the scientific theory was carried out on the stages of pregnancy, nutrition and prenatal stimulation techniques, which served to analyze the cases investigated through the histories of life, in-depth interviews and analysis of personal anecdotes. Among the main findings of the research the factors that cause the newborn can not develop physically, this irritated, and being children have lack of skills in developing their intellectual faculties, lack of interest in reading, are: lack of affective attention of their beings closer, who are not interested in the present and future life of children in early childhood. Another factor is the disinterest of their partners as axes of emotional support during pregnancy, for work reasons. Women are subjected to emotional suffering and stress that directly affect the future newborn as a child, and their behavior at school is redundant, this is the reason for the lack of affectivity towards women. The research concludes that the lack of affection and little attention to the activities carried out by women, creates in them deep confusions of emotional
